Tzatziki!

Living in Seattle, I often lack some of the Greek necessities, like kefalotiri (a dry, salty, concentrated cheese), Paximadia (dry, coarse-grained croutons) and tzatziki of course! Together with a fresh, cut tomato, this makes for a healthy snack, heck, I’d consider it a meal!

So, I got bored today, and decided, as per my aunt’s directions, to try my luck with tzatziki. Turns out it’s ridiculously simple to make:

- Open up a sour cream container.
- Grate 1/2 a cucumber into it (well, depending on its size)
- Crush a couple of garlic cloves (as much as you like, I tend to put a lot :)
- Mix it up
- Serve. I you can spread it on bread, meat, whatever you like!

Warning: There’s obviously garlic in there, so it *will* give you bad breath :p
