Today was my last day of school. Classes are out, I’ve written my two finals, and submitted all my projects. Now all that’s left to do is graduate, sometime in early June.
How does it feel?
Well, I have mixed feelings. One one hand, I’ve had the semester from hell; I feel quite burnt out from all these projects that I’ve had to work on over the last few months, and I was really looking forward for this to end. On the other hand, student life is totally amazing! There’s the end-of-semester rush, but the rest of the time is pretty chill. You get to hang out with a crowd that shares the same interests as you, learn new things and watch the cute girls
If I could, I’d be a student all my life! Seriously, these four and a half years were the best!
Now what’s next?
Well, following a recent campus recruiting event, I’ve been invited for an interview with Microsoft in Redmond in May, so I will definately have to prepare for that. In fact, I’ve got some electronic paperwork to fill-in for that right now so I’ll keep it short.
Apart from that I’ll be on the lookout for a good IT job, blogging a little more often, messing around with my computer, doing some work around the house, and hopefully getting a chance to relax a little bit. I will definately keep you guys posted on how things go with Microsoft.
Will I continue to get my master’s, Ph.D?
Well, I have been thinking about that, though for the moment I don’t know, so I will postpone the decision a year. We’ll see where I am next year, what my goals are, etc. For now, I want to take a break from school, as much as I like it
