New Wheels!

Well, to be fair, I shall say it’s my mom’s car, but it’s the one I’ll be using.

So I got it today. After calling to delay it several times, it funally came around late yesterday afternoon. It’s a black Suzuki Aerio Fastback SX AWD 2004. It came all-equipped, down to the skirt, spoiler and subwoofer, for just a little over 23K$.

Of course I took it for a spin alone, and I really do like it. Driving a hatchback sedan is much more fun than a minivan or an SUV, seriously. The engine is quiet compared to that crappy 1990 Mazda MPV I was driving, I don’t even need to put the stereo on max anymore! Among the other gadgets I really appreciate it is the remote starter. As I walk towards the car, I start it to let it rev up a little, and turn some heads ;)

Also, going to the gym tonight, I got waived through 2 stop signs! That is, when I arribed at the stop sign at the same time as another guy, he waived me through it. NEVER EVER happened to me before, with that rusty old van. It is sad to say so, but I am happy, that on the road, you are treated according to what you drive…
